Here's a neat little trick that helped get traffic to your site. All you need is a Yahoo Answers account. Visit Yahoo Answers @ answers.yahoo.comand find questions to answer that you can link back to. Answer the question and in the sources put the link of where the user can read more about your answer (for example don't just link to the homepage, like example.com, but if the page that expands on your answer is located on example.com/page2.html than in the sources you would put this link in your sources). Submit your answer. Do this with various questions that you can link answers to. The more you can do this, the more links you build through yahoo and the more 'targeted' traffic you will get because the user may be interested in your linked site because it relates to your answer. At worst it never hurts to try because it's another backlink to your site on a high traffic website. (You can do this with a website, a forum, or a blog) I did this with a blog and in one day my traffic nearly doubled (found that out through Google Analytics). So, give it a try if you have questions, please ask. I'm willing to help you out. Good Luck, Andy...

Wow, I have never thought of that! I go on Yahoo! Answers sometimes too. Another trick is to ask what people think of your forum, website, or blog, it brings some traffic, but not much.
